Inside Fringe Golf Sheffield: more than a simulator bay

Explore Fringe Golf Sheffield: four Trackman iO bays, PGA coaching, the Phil Kenyon Putting Studio, Scotty Cameron fitting and private event space.

What is actually inside Fringe Golf? If you have only seen the early layout drawings, quite a lot has changed since then. We are now open at New Era Square in Sheffield, with spaces for a quick solo session, a round with friends, specialist coaching, putting, fitting and group events.

Here is a closer look at what you can come to Fringe for—and what to book for each kind of visit.

Frineg Golf Sheffield Bays

Four spacious bays for playing your way

Our four Trackman iO simulator bays are the heart of the venue. You can use one for an hour with your own clubs, play a virtual course with friends or make a session competitive. Each bay can take up to five golfers, so you can come alone or bring your usual group.

The screens and shot feedback are a big part of the experience, but the space matters too. We have built the bays for golfers who want to spend time on their game as well as people who simply want to play together. You do not need to be a member to book one.

Fringe Golf Sheffield Coaching

PGA coaching built around your game

If you want help understanding what is happening in your swing, a lesson is a different visit from a standard bay session. Our PGA coaches use Trackman iO and performance data to support a conversation about your own game, rather than leaving you to interpret every number yourself.

We offer one-to-one lessons and other coaching formats, including a session that combines coached time with time to apply it in the bay. Coaching must be booked separately; it is not included when you book a simulator bay or buy a golf package. You can see the current lesson options if that is the reason you are visiting.

Fringe Golf Sheffield Phil Kenyon Putting Studio

A dedicated Phil Kenyon Putting Studio

Putting has its own home at Fringe. Our Phil Kenyon Putting Studio is a dedicated space for specialist lessons and assessments, led by Ben Mason. It brings together coaching with tools including the adjustable Zen Green Stage, which can recreate different slopes and breaks, and SAM PuttLab analysis.

That makes it a distinct experience from hitting balls in a simulator bay. If putting is the part of your game you want to explore, look at the putting lesson options rather than assuming studio access comes with a normal bay booking.

Fringe Golf Sheffield Scotty Cameron Putter Fitting

Scotty Cameron fitting for your next putter

The putting side of Fringe also includes Scotty Cameron putter fitting. A fitting is about finding a model and setup that suit you, using expert assessment and performance feedback. We offer different fitting formats, so check what each appointment includes before you book; a fitting and a putter purchase are not automatically the same thing.

Fringe Golf Sheffield Corporate Studio

A Boardroom Studio and space for bigger occasions

Fringe is also a place to bring colleagues, clients or a larger group. Our Corporate Boardroom Studio combines a private room with simulator golf for meetings, team sessions and client hosting. For a bigger occasion, we also offer tailored venue hire, including whole-venue options for corporate golf days, charity events and celebrations.

Those are planned as private events, with the format, time and any extras agreed for the group. They are separate from booking a standard bay. If you are organising one, explore the venue-hire options and enquire about the setup you need.

Fringe Golf Sheffield Venue

A clubhouse around the golf

We wanted Fringe to be somewhere people could spend time around the game, not just arrive, hit balls and leave. Alongside the golf spaces, the venue has a lounge and bar area. It gives a visit a different feel from a row of hitting stations, whether you are meeting friends or coming in for a booked session. Food, drink and any hosted extras depend on the visit, so check the current arrangements if they matter to your plans.

Three ways to use the bays

The simplest first visit is Book & Play: choose a bay and time through YourGolfBooking. If Fringe becomes a regular part of your week, seasonal golf packages and Club Membership are two other ways to use the bays. Membership adds benefits for frequent visitors, but it is not required to come in.

We are on Floor 2 at 1 New Era Square, with underground parking beneath the building and other nearby options. Check our current parking and access guidance before travelling, especially if you are arriving outside the main entrance hours.

Whether you are coming for a bay, a lesson or a group occasion, choose the experience that fits your visit. If you want to start with golf in one of the bays, explore the current ways to play at Fringe and pick a session that suits you.
