You can come to Fringe on your own, book one of our Trackman iO bays and use the time for the kind of golf you want. You do not need to find a playing partner or become a member first.
What does a solo session give you?
A standard Book & Play booking reserves a simulator bay for your chosen time. It is your space for the session, whether you want to hit shots and see the feedback or play a virtual course. Our four bays are set up for solo golfers as well as groups of up to five.
A bay booking gives you the simulator, not a coach. If you want someone to interpret what is happening in your game, book a lesson separately.
Is one hour enough?
Our standard session is listed as one hour, with 55 minutes in the final hour of opening. That can be a useful block for an independent visit, but a full virtual round is not guaranteed in one booking. How much you fit in depends on what you choose to do. If a particular course or longer session matters, check the options with us before booking.
Do you need a membership?
No. Book & Play is there for a first visit or an occasional session. Our current Play Golf page lists the base session price and lets you choose a bay, time and number of players through YourGolfBooking. Select one player for a solo booking.
Seasonal packages and Club Membership are options if you later want to come regularly. You can decide that after you have tried the venue; there is no need to commit before your first visit.
Why come alone rather than wait for a group?
A solo bay lets you fit golf around your own diary, including evenings when an outdoor round is out of reach. You can spend the booked time on the part of the experience that interests you, without organising four people. If you would rather bring friends next time, the same booking route supports that too.
Where do you go on your first visit?
We are on Floor 2 at 1 New Era Square in Sheffield. There is underground parking beneath the building, and our parking and access page explains the entrances. Check it before you travel, particularly for an evening booking.
To try it, choose Book & Play on our current Play Golf page, pick a time and set the booking to one player. Start with the visit you actually want; the rest can follow.
